The plugin uses the same owner-scoped AdAnt workspace as Studio. There are no provider keys to paste into a task.
Setup, access, and recovery
You need a plugin-enabled desktop host and an AdAnt account. Installation connects your account through OAuth; review the requested permissions in the authorization screen. Media generation uses your AdAnt credits and requires confirmation before submission. Installing the plugin does not include unlimited generation.

Try a specific workflow
- Research a product and build a content strategy: provide your product URL, target market, and audience.
- Recreate a reference video: provide the reference and your own product assets.
- Create a UGC-style ad: specify the avatar, script, language, and production budget.
If the connection or tools are missing
After an install or update, start a new task first. For an expired AdAnt connection, open AdAnt under Plugins → Installed or Personal and complete the connection prompt. In Codex CLI, use codex mcp login adant. Finish consent in your browser, then resume the original request with its saved job identifiers.
Normal social research runs on AdAnt’s servers through the authenticated connection. It does not require a local browser, social logins, or provider keys. Queued jobs survive a disconnected computer; ask to resume the existing operation rather than starting the same research again.
Local file and export workflows can use the plugin’s local runtime. If that server fails to start, ask AdAnt initialization to repair it, then reconnect. See the official plugin repository for current runtime setup and recovery instructions.
