About this skill

This is how AdAnt's launch film was made: the script and read first, every picture keyed to a spoken word, captions that work muted, chapter cards, a character drawn in code, and a sound design an agent can check without hearing it. The film above is the real one, so turn the sound on. How this was made: the film was built with Claude Code, on Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Fable 5.1, with Remotion. The AdAnt team directed it, chose the narrator's reads and finished it: the published edit runs 53.2 s, against 61.5 s for the last render. It was not one prompt, and the skill tells your agent to work the same way.

You say

Plan a 45-second launch film for my product. Start from this script, key each beat to a word, and give me three openings to pick from.

How it works

  1. Your agent starts from the script and the narrator's read, because the picture follows the voice.
  2. It writes a beat plan that keys every picture to a spoken word, and cuts the narration only inside its pauses.
  3. It builds the scenes in Remotion from the source excerpts: captions, chapter cards, a character drawn in code and the last page.
  4. It designs the sound last, from a palette and a cue sheet, then checks it by measuring, since it can't hear it.
  5. It renders numbered versions for you to pick from, and writes each round of your feedback down as a rule.
  6. How this was made: AdAnt's own film was built this way with Claude Code, on Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Fable 5.1, while the AdAnt team directed it and made the final edit.

Getting a good result

  • Get a read you like before any animation. Every scene takes its timing from it.
  • Watch each version muted first. If you can't follow it, the captions or the holds need work.
  • Say what's wrong with a specific frame. The film's best rules came from notes like that.
  • Ask for three versions of a beat you're unsure about, and keep the ones you don't pick.
  • Treat the source as a starting point, and draw your own characters. The film's ants are AdAnt's and aren't included.

What you get

  • How this was made: who did what, what each round of versions taught, and what went wrong
  • The direction rules from real rejections, on focus, pace, type, color and sound density
  • A beat plan keyed to voice-word frames, and a script that cuts narration only in its pauses
  • Source excerpts that fit together into a small example film: captions, chapter cards, a placeholder character, the title joke and the last page
  • A sound palette builder, cue sheet and master, with prompts for generating your own sounds
  • Sound checks an agent can run: spectrograms, Whisper on the mix against the voice, and loudness

Good fit

  • Teams launching on X or Product Hunt
  • Remotion users who want a film, not a template
  • Someone who will watch each version and say what's wrong

Not for

  • Editing existing footage
  • A one-prompt result
  • A finished template: the example film has placeholder words and stub chapters to replace

How to install it

  1. Download the ZIP and unzip it.
  2. Move the folder holding SKILL.md into your agent's skills folder, such as ~/.claude/skills/ for Claude Code.
  3. Start a new session and ask for what you want to make.

Needs: An agent that reads skills, Node.js, Remotion, Python with numpy and scipy, and ffmpeg, Whisper, rubberband and parselmouth for the sound checks, A voice and a sound-effects source of your choice.

FAQ

What do I need to use it?

A paid AdAnt plan, Standard or above, to download it. You then render on your own machine, so it uses no AdAnt credits. Voice and sound-effect tools are your own.

Can I use it in commercial work?

Yes. You can use the skill and what it makes in your own commercial work, including for clients. You can't resell the skill.

Did Claude make this film by itself?

No. It was built with Claude Code, on Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Fable 5.1, which wrote the code, cut the voice, built the sound and rendered versions. The AdAnt team decided what it says, chose between versions and made the final edit.

Does it include the film's voice, sounds or characters?

No. You get the code and the method, with a placeholder character and prompts for making your own sounds. The ants, the voice and the film stay AdAnt's.

Do I need a Remotion license?

Possibly. Remotion is free for individuals, companies of up to 3 employees and non-profits. Other companies need its Company License.
