About this skill

An FPV one-take is a single first-person drone flight with no cut to hide a bad moment, so it has to be written as one path. This skill plans the flight in five timed beats (launch, dive, weave, bank and a climb to the reveal), writes the prompt in eight blocks, renders it on Seedance 2.5 through AdAnt, and retakes one change at a time: melting faces, flicker, collisions, spins and cuts each have a change to try first. Six route templates cover a city street, a forest, a warehouse, a stadium, a night market and a product showroom for ads.

You say

Make a 15-second FPV drone video through a night market that ends on the city skyline, for Reels. Show me the route and the cost before you render.

How it works

  1. Tell your agent the place, the length, where it will be posted and what the flight should reveal.
  2. It plans the route in five timed beats: launch, dive, weave, bank and a climb to the reveal.
  3. It writes the prompt in eight blocks, checks Seedance 2.5's limits and the credit estimate on AdAnt, and renders a 720p draft.
  4. You review the take, and it retakes what failed with one change at a time, then renders the final at 1080p.

Getting a good result

  • Give the drone one turn. Two turns in opposite directions is often where takes start to spin.
  • Keep people at arm's length or more, walking across the path. The closest passes should be on objects.
  • End on a place the drone has been flying towards. A reveal from nowhere reads as a cut.

What you get

  • A five-beat route with a timestamp for every part of the flight
  • An eight-block prompt template and a negative prompt, with the filled-in prompt behind the clip on this page
  • Six route templates, including a product showroom route for ads
  • A table of what breaks in FPV takes and the change to try first for each

Good fit

  • Openers and hooks for travel, city, venue and event videos
  • Store, venue and product ads that end on the product
  • Anyone tired of AI drone shots that cut, spin or melt

Not for

  • Passing off generated flights as real drone footage
  • Real people, or real brands that aren't yours
  • Shots that need several angles: this is one camera, one take

How to install it

  1. Download the ZIP and unzip it.
  2. Move the fpv-drone-one-take folder into your agent's skills folder, such as ~/.claude/skills/, and connect AdAnt's MCP server if you haven't.
  3. Start a new session and ask for what you want to make.

Needs: An agent that reads skills, the AdAnt MCP connection or the AdAnt CLI, or another video model that takes a long prompt.

FAQ

Is it really free?

Yes. Create a free AdAnt account to download the ZIP. Renders use credits on the account that makes them.

Which model does it use?

Seedance 2.5 through AdAnt, which renders one take of 4 to 30 seconds from a prompt of up to 8,000 characters. The skill checks the model's limits and the credit estimate before each render, drafts at 720p, and renders 1080p only once a take passes. The prompt works on other models too; a take of 8 seconds or less keeps three beats: launch, weave and climb.

Why do AI drone shots fail?

Usually in the turn and up close. Faces often melt when the camera passes too near, two turns can make the drone spin, and a route with no times invites a cut. The skill keeps people at arm's length, allows one bank, gives every beat a time, and makes one change per retake.

Did the creator of the drone video write this skill?

No. The idea comes from a post linked on this page: a popular Seedance 2.5 FPV flythrough of a busy street that ends on a reveal. Its prompt states no license, so AdAnt wrote this skill and its prompts, and the creator did not write or review it. The clip on this page was made by AdAnt with this skill, not by that creator.
